About me
I’ve been a writer and performer for over twenty years. For the past fifteen years, I’ve worked professionally as a playwright, UX writer, and content strategist. I’ve worked slightly less professionally as a novelist, actor, musician, songwriter, and sketch comedian.
I grew up on a farm in Nebraska and did my undergrad at College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University in theatre and English. While there, I co-founded the sketch comedy troupe Fireplace Puppies, and met my future wife, who whisked me away to California for her grad program.
In the Bay Area, I was with the Pear Playwrights Guild from 2014-19 and was on the board of the Pear Theatre from 2017-19, where I had multiple plays produced. We eventually relocated for Colorado for a job opportunity, and returned to Minnesota in 2023.
We live near the Twin Cities with our three kids and our dog, Domino.
